Poker games

This is a game all players have heard about. Many of them, for sure, had beautiful dreams, wherein they stayed up late and spent their night at the table, shifting cards and collecting the dollar bills you’ve managed to win… Ah, perfect. So, where did the game come from? Well, it seems like in the sixteenth century, Germans already had a bluffing game called “Pochen”, which later turned into a French version - “Poque” - that subsequently found its way to New Orleans, where it was played on the riverboats of Mississippi. Later, in the 19th century, the game became know as poker, as it became further refined. The key rule about drawing cards, in case you need to complete a better hand, was added during the Civil War. Different variations of the game started popping out. Nowadays, poker is a not just a game played at home for recreation; it is turned into an entire industry and a profession. Although the game can still be played at homes for matchsticks or pennies, there are plenty of casinos that allow players to enjoy themselves at a professional table and take wagers that can go up to infinite amounts of money.
